Trainers

The people who coach every session.

Every session is guided by a certified EMS trainer who sets and adjusts the intensity for each muscle group. Steve came to EMS as a client rebuilding after neck surgery, so he coaches limitations from experience.

A family-owned enterprise

The P20 journey began in Portugal.

The late co-founder, husband and father Pedro Ruiz started the P20 Studio Concept in Portugal. Connie, excited by the potential of EMS, was one of the first to bring it to America.

With their daughter Carmen, they opened the first P20 Studio in January 2017 in Herndon, and in 2021 the second P20 Studio in Tysons.

In honor of Pedro’s legacy, P20 is a source of joy: a team of P20 EMS experts dedicated to helping clients get stronger, healthier and happier with P20’s state-of-the-art EMS technology.

Coached, never guessing

How a P20 trainer works.

  1. 01 Asks about your goals, injuries, surgeries and anything your doctor has said before your first session.
  2. 02 Fits the suit and starts every muscle group low, raising intensity only as you adapt.
  3. 03 Coaches each movement for the full 20 minutes; you are never left on a machine alone.
  4. 04 Records weight, waist and a one-minute strength test at sessions 1, 8, 16 and 24.
  5. 05 Moves you through P20 Strong, HIIT and Power on the 12-week Triple 8 Journey.
