EMS vs. the gym

A full workout in 20 minutes, twice a week, for people who do not have an hour.

A Personal20 EMS session takes 20 minutes, one or two times a week, with the suit, clothing and coaching provided, so a workout fits inside a lunch break. The suit stimulates up to 90% of your muscle fibers during simple exercises, which is why 20 minutes can replace a longer gym session.

Chad and Erica supplement their fitness at P20 | EMS Studio
Chad & Erica

A marathon and a strength goal on two sessions a week.

Erica wanted to get fit for her first marathon; Chad wanted strength and weight loss. Neither had hours for the gym. Two 20-minute EMS sessions a week became their strength work, and they stayed consistent.

John, on the same schedule, lost 20 lbs over 24 sessions. Steve, a trainer, lost 3 lbs in two weeks when he added a P20 HIIT session, which he describes as a few minutes that “gets you out of breath and creates fireworks for your brain”.

Fitting it in

How a week with P20 fits around work

Both studios open at 7:30 am on weekdays, so a session before the office or at lunch is routine. Tysons sits at 8250 Greensboro Dr, a short walk from the Greensboro Metro station and the Tysons office towers. Sessions are by appointment, so your slot is yours; text 571-407-1199 (Tysons) or 703-559-4040 (Herndon) to hold one.

Can EMS replace the gym completely?

For strength, core and body-shape goals, two 20-minute EMS sessions a week are a complete program for most P20 clients. Endurance athletes use EMS as their strength work alongside running or cycling. If you like the gym, EMS pairs with it; if you have stopped going, EMS is the workout that fits.
